Need Grant Funding?

It's not too early to start the process for 2009! To begin the process, you must submit a Letter of Intent by August 15, 2008. For a step-by-step guide to funding your research, click here.

The Foundation may contribute up to $25,000 per year for up to 2 years of study. The Foundation does not pay indirect costs on these grants. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2009.

Maintaining Research as Goal

The research goals of the AANEM Foundation have been a major focus for the last 5 years. In that time, the Foundation has funded nine pilot studies totaling nearly $240,000. The details of the studies demonstrate the importance of funding electrodiagnostic research. Presently, there are three grants with research in progress.

The Foundation has also been concentrating on its educational and research goals by funding programs such as awards and fellowships. For the last 2 years the Foundation has also provided up to five $1000 fellowships to physicians from economically disadvantaged countries to attend the AANEM Annual Meeting. All of these awards provide rewards for conducting research and support attendance at the AANEM’s annual meeting.
