The AANEM Foundation Board created the
Golseth Endowment at the 2003 spring meeting to honor one of AANEM’s
founding members, Dr. James G. Golseth. Dr. Golseth helped establish the
AANEM, then called the AAEE, in 1953. The primary goal of the Golseth
Endowment will be to fund ongoing evidence-based electrodiagnostic research.
The fund can be used to support education as well. The Golseth Endowment
will function like other fundraising vehicles of this nature. The goal
is to raise sufficient funds so that earnings could support one $25,000
to $50,000 study each year. With strong annual giving, the Endowment creators
believe that this goal can be achieved. The Board has determined that
only the interest on the fund will be spent unless the amount in the fund
becomes too low, making it impractical to continue the fund. Tax deductible
contributions can be made payable to the AANEM Foundation. Please note
on the check that the contribution should go to the Golseth Endowment.
You can be a part of this legacy, send your contribution to the Golseth
Endowment fund today! |
