President's Research Initiative
Each year the AANEM President chooses a topic for research for the AANEM annual meeting. Up to 10 abstracts submitted to the annual meeting on this topic may receive the President's Research Initiative Award. Award winners must be the first and presenting author.
Deadline for Submission is March 15.

Submission Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria
Submit an abstract between January 1 and March 15. During the application process, you will be asked if you plan to apply for the President's Research Initiative Award. To be eligible for this award, the recipients must be the first authors and the abstract presenters and must be present at the meeting to receive the financial award.
Award Benefits
The President's Research Initiative Award recipients receive:
- $500 cash
- Abstract published in Muscle & Nerve
- Recognition in the program book and at the AANEM Annual Meeting.
